Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated: May 12, 2026
These Terms apply to Release Passport, an Arconath-owned digital software product.
By accessing the website, creating a checkout session, installing the runtime, using the CLI, or using the API, you agree to these Terms.
1. Agreement and scope
These Terms govern access to Release Passport websites, public commercial checkout, hosted account surfaces, downloadable software artifacts, customer self-hosted runtime packages, documentation, APIs, CLIs, support, and related services.
Release Passport is operated under the Arconath brand. If you access the product for a company, team, or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Product and delivery model
Release Passport is release-readiness and pre-release workflow software for engineering and product teams. It helps organize release evidence, release gates, runtime checks, policy decisions, reports, and audit records before production changes.
Release Passport is a digital software product. No physical goods, shipping, or physical returns are part of the product.
3. Public commercial service and customer runtime
The public commercial service handles marketing pages, documentation, pricing, checkout, subscription records, licensing, entitlement, and package distribution.
The customer self-hosted runtime is installed in customer-controlled infrastructure and contains the console, API, worker, CLI gate path, connectors, runtime checks, and evidence workflows allowed by the active license. Customer runtime packages do not include owner billing controls, payment mutation routes, or license issuance administration.
4. Accounts, administrators, and access
You are responsible for account credentials, administrator access, API tokens, identity-provider configuration, and all activity performed through your workspace or self-hosted runtime.
You must keep administrator accounts, registry credentials, license material, kubeconfigs, private keys, and secrets secure. You must promptly rotate credentials if compromise is suspected.
5. Trials, paid plans, and custom terms
Trial access may be time-limited and feature-limited. Starter, Team, Business, and Custom packages may unlock different capacity, retention, connector, runtime-check, registry, and governance features.
Custom packages, procurement terms, security reviews, and rollout commitments require written agreement or written confirmation from Arconath. Public website copy does not override a signed agreement.
6. Checkout, payments, and taxes
Eligible paid packages may be processed through a configured payment provider or Merchant of Record. Pricing, billing cadence, taxes, currency, and payment method requirements are shown before payment where applicable.
Plan access is not considered active merely because a checkout session was created. Commercial entitlement activates only after Release Passport receives a verified successful payment event or an authorized owner-issued entitlement.
7. Subscriptions and cancellation
Subscriptions may renew automatically according to the terms shown at checkout or in the applicable commercial agreement. Cancellation stops future renewal where subscription management is available, but it does not automatically reverse previous charges.
8. Licenses, package access, and restrictions
Release Passport is licensed, not sold. You may use the software only within the package, workspace, seat, service, retention, connector, registry, and deployment limits granted by your active license or written agreement.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, publish, reverse engineer, bypass license checks, remove security controls, or distribute private package artifacts except as expressly permitted by law or written agreement.
9. Customer data and release evidence
You retain responsibility for the release evidence, configuration, service metadata, connector output, runtime-check artifacts, reports, and operational data you submit to Release Passport.
You must not submit secrets, private keys, passwords, access tokens, production kubeconfigs, or highly sensitive personal data unless the relevant input explicitly requires it and the deployment is configured to protect it.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use Release Passport for illegal activity, abuse, fraud, spam, infringement, malware distribution, credential theft, unauthorized scanning, denial-of-service attacks, or activity that violates third-party rights.
You must not use public support, checkout, or documentation forms to submit confidential credentials, private infrastructure material, or customer production evidence.
11. Security and responsible disclosure
You are responsible for securing self-hosted deployments, network access, identity providers, registry access, backups, logs, and secret-management systems under your control.
If you discover a security issue, contact support with public-safe reproduction steps and do not disclose or exploit the issue before it is reviewed.
12. Availability, changes, and maintenance
Public services, package distribution, documentation, and product features may change, be updated, be rate-limited, or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, reliability, or legal reasons.
Arconath may modify product packaging, features, pricing, policies, or documentation over time. Material paid-package commitments are governed by the checkout terms or signed commercial agreement in effect for that purchase.
13. Third-party services and connectors
Release Passport may integrate with source control, CI, registries, orchestration systems, GitOps tools, logs, metrics, security scanners, incident tools, payment providers, and identity providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and availability. You are responsible for credentials, scopes, costs, compliance, and permissions for systems you connect.
14. Intellectual property and feedback
Release Passport, including software, branding, design, documentation, workflows, reports, and product materials, is owned by Arconath or its licensors.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or issue reports, Arconath may use them to improve the product without obligation unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Release Passport supports release-readiness decisions but does not guarantee that a release is risk-free, compliant, incident-free, secure, or suitable for every production environment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arconath is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or production availability.
16. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for unpaid fees, license breach, abuse, security risk, unlawful use, or violation of these Terms.
After termination, your right to use paid features, private package channels, and commercial entitlement may end. Data-retention and deletion behavior depends on the deployment model and applicable agreement.
17. Governing terms and contact
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts remain effective. A separate signed agreement controls if it directly conflicts with these public Terms.
